Blaze the Boston

10 years ago, I adopted Blaze - a dorky, deaf Boston terrier. It was our first Christmas together, so I took him to the pet store to get some toys. They were offering pet portraits at the store and I had Blaze's photos taken. Those photos made me so happy and I still hold them close to my heart today. From that moment, I knew I wanted to do dog photography someday and make people feel how that photographer made me feel!

Backstory

I was adopted when I was 4 years old and raised with a Maltese named Lucky, that’s when my love for animals began. Everyone has always known me as an animal lover. I've owned dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, hamsters, you name it. So it was only natural that I'd end up working with animals. I've worked in the pet industry for 10 years, but it doesn't feel like work when you're doing what you love.

How BNW Started

After losing my job due to the pandemic, I decided that I was going to pursue my dream of owning a dog business. I decided that I would walk dogs as I had already been doing it for a big company and absolutely loved it. I started posting photos of my pups and all the adorable dogs in the Marina. I would wake up every morning to put up flyers and hand out business cards. I eventually got my first client Penelope and the rest is history.

Where we are now

After 2 1/2 amazing years in Marina del Rey doing pack walks, we decided to relocate. We now have our own Photo Studio where I will be pursuing my photography dreams. This has been 10 years in the making and I cannot wait to meet your babies! Thank you all for being on this journey with me and supporting my dream. Im truly so blessed to have this incredible
